Timeline of The Nuclear Accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Power Plant

This timeline is a class project which chronicles the nuclear accident at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant.

In class today we will learn how to build an interactive timeline using a service called Dipity. We will create an interactive timeline of the nuclear accident in Fukushima, Japan. We will work off a NYTimes page which has been publishing hour-by-hour updates on each of the 6 nuclear reactors. Each of you will be responsible for a part of the timeline. I will assign you to a reactor and a particular timeframe which you will then need to cover in class.

As you will note, the NYTimes report includes only text. Your job will be to start with the information contained in the hour-by-hour updates and find additional multimedia files (videos, pictures, blog posts, news reports, tweets, etc.) which you will add to your part of the timeline.
